Aer Lingus is offering direct flights between Dublin and Seattle from 18th May, four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.  Regional connections are available from a dozen UK mainland airports.   Flights depart from Dublin at 15.50 allowing plenty of time to transfer from a UK connecting flight. Passengers will be pre-cleared to enter the USA at Dublin and arrive at 17.35 in Seattle for an easy transfer into the City.  Return flights leave at 19.20 for a full final day in Seattle.  These land in Dublin at 12.30. Prices from 249 Euros each way.

Thomas Cook Airlines will start a non-stop Manchester to Seattle service on 27th May, flying twice each week on Sundays and Thursdays.  Flights leave Manchester UK at 12.55 pm and arrive Seattle 14.25.  The return journey leaves Seattle at 16.25 and arrives Manchester at 09.30 the following morning. Prices from £399 return.

Both new routes will use an Airbus A330 for the transatlantic journey.

These options add to three existing airlines which fly from non-stop from London to Seattle: British Airways (up to 11 times per week from Heathrow), Virgin Atlantic (daily from Heathrow) and Norwegian (four times per week from Gatwick).

With this prodigious increase in seat capacity between the UK and Ireland to Seattle, there are options to fit all timetables and budgets, plus frequent promotional sales.
