British Airways and Virgin Atlantic offer year round daily non stop direct flights from London to Seattle. These flights are daytime outbound and the return journey is overnight in under ten hours. Norwegian offers four flights a week direct non stop from London Gatwick to Seattle and Thomas Cook Airlines will introduce two flights a week between Manchester and Seattle in May 2018. Aer Lingus is introducing direct non stop flights from Dublin to Seattle in May 2018. Icelandair offers flights from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen to Seattle, changing at Reykjavik. Virgin Atlantic operates one of the shortest London to Hawaii routes via Seattle, with opportunities for stopovers.

Sea-Tac Airport lies fifteen miles south of downtown Seattle. Ground transportation links are excellent with the Link light rail taking 30 minutes into downtown Seattle from its convenient airport station. There is also an array of taxis, limos, and a full range of car hire companies available.
Sea-Tac Airport and Seattle’s downtown cruise terminals are the Green Gateways to the Pacific Northwest. Nine cruise lines have Seattle as their home port in 2018.
In 2016, Cruise Critic, the world’s largest review site for cruise planning, named the Port of Seattle the #1 Homeport in North America. 2017 was a record breaking year with 9% more passengers than 2016 and over 1 million visitors travelling through Seattle to cruise to Alaska.
